Curtis Axel Accused of Hitting Vehicle, Verbal Abuse in McDonald’s Drive Thru
Multiple news outlets report that former Paul Heyman Guy, Curtis Axel, was arrested on May 17, 2026. Reports indicate that Anoka County police in Minnesota received a call at 8:47 pm about a man backing into another vehicle and unleashing a verbal assault on McDonald’s employees and another driver in a fast-food drive-thru.
According to Minnesota news reports, police arrived on the scene after reports of property damage at a local McDonald’s. Police officers noted that a truck driven by Joe Hennig was driving erratically in a parking lot.
When Joe pulled over, police indicated that the former IC Champ refused a breathalyzer test. The former Michael McGillicutty also wouldn’t get out of the vehicle when officers requested it.

Cops noted that they reached into Joe Hennig’s truck to turn the engine off. Law enforcement alleges that the former WWE Superstar became belligerent.
News reports state that Hennig swore at officers:

Officers wrestled the ex-pro wrestler to the ground, cuffing him on the scene. Before Joe Hennig’s truck was towed away, inventory specialists found a “a 750 mL open bottle of Phillips vodka on the front passenger-side floorboard.”

The worker alleges that Joe became hostile as he came to the McDonald’s restaurant’s drive-thru window. Reports indicate that Joe cussed at the staff. They also allege he put his car in reverse, backing into another car.
Numerous reports indicate that Joe opened his car door to address the woman he allegedly hit. Witnesses state that the former Rybaxel member called the woman a “b****” and “p****” before leaving the drive-thru path. From there, cops were called, leading to Curtis Axel’s arrest.
