Arsenal will bid to win the Champions League for the first time ever when they face holders Paris Saint-Germain in the final in Budapest on Saturday.
The Gunners lifted the Premier League title last week following their 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, marking the first time in more than two decades that the north London side have been top flight champions.
Mikel Arteta and his team will now bid to complete a remarkable double, but PSG have been in scintillating form across all competitions this season and will likely provide a stern test for the Gunners.
Ahead of the match, it has emerged that Arsenal have entered into the race to sign one of the most expensive Premier League players in history.
As per CaughtOffside, the Gunners have joined the race to sign Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez this summer.
The Argentina international has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent weeks, with Spanish side Real Madrid said to be interested in the player.

Manchester City are also believed to be monitoring his situation, and Fernandez himself is said to be open to the prospect of a move to The Etihad which would likely see him reunite with former boss Enzo Maresca, who is expected to be announced as Pep Guardiola’s successor in the near future.
Fernandez, 25, became the most expensive player in British football history when he joined the Blues from Portuguese side Benfica back in 2023, and has since established a reputation as one of the best central midfielders in Europe.
In total he has featured 169 times for the west London outfit across all competitions, scoring 31 goals and registering 30 assists.
The Argentine is under contract at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2031/32 season, but the report claims that Arsenal are now keeping tabs on his situation.
