Sol Ruca is your NEW WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
At Clash in Italy on Sunday, Ruca defeated Becky Lynch to dethrone her from her third title reign. She held the title in her third reign for 43 days after defeating AJ Lee at WrestleMania. This is Ruca’s first official title on the main roster. She is a former NXT Women’s North American Champion and a former WWE Women’s Speed Champion.
Ruca defeated Lynch by finally hitting a Sol Snatcher to get the victory. Ahead of the finish. Lynch went to hit a Sol Snatcher of her own, but Ruca stopped her and landed the ManHandle Slam. At that time, Ruca got a near fall. Lynch went for another ManHandle Slam but was met with the Sol Snatcher instead.
Ruca becomes the fifth woman to win the Women’s IC Title since its inception in January 2025.
