Oba Femi didn’t just advance in the King of the Ring tournament on June 1 WWE RAW — he made sure Brock Lesnar heard him loud and clear afterward.
After defeating Penta, Carmelo Hayes, and Solo Sikoa in a wild Fatal Four-Way first-round match, Oba grabbed a microphone and turned his attention straight to Lesnar.
Oba brought up Brock asking him if he could take an ass-whooping, then reminded everyone what happened at Clash in Italy. He said he took a beatdown, survived seven F5s, and was still standing.
“What do you do after receiving an ass whooping? What do you do after receiving a beat down? What do you do after taking seven F5s?”
Oba then made it clear that Brock’s best shot wasn’t enough to keep him down.
“I am standing and winning, and I took your best shot and I am still here.”
The message was simple. Oba is moving forward in King of the Ring, but he isn’t finished with Lesnar either. He said he plans to win the tournament, then reminded Brock that things are now tied between them.
“I am going to win King of the Ring. It is one and one, and I will see him down the line.”
Oba’s win already made him look like a monster, but the post-match promo gave him even more momentum. He survived chaos in the Fatal Four-Way, advanced in the tournament, and still had enough left to call out Brock Lesnar.
Now Oba has two things in front of him: winning King of the Ring and eventually settling the score with Brock.
