Dwayne Bravo is now the Mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders. At Chennai Super Kings, Bravo did a great job as the bowling coach. He also helped the players in the other departments. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three CSK players Dwayne Bravo could target for KKR in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions.
1) Maheesh Theekshana
KKR has a liking for right-arm off-spinners. Both Sunil Narine and Varun CV could be retained at KKR. However, Narine may not play in the IPL for long and here is where Bravo could pitch in.
Theekshana has not been consistent but if the system assists him, he could perform well. In this regard, KKR will be a good fit for him. Now that Bravo is also there, the Sri Lankan cricketer could find a home.
2) Mitchell Santner
Mitchell Santner is one of the CSK players Dwayne Bravo could target for KKR in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. If you take a look at the KKR squad, after Shakib Al Hasan, they have not had a good left-arm off-spinner. Every T20 squad requires a bowler of this bowling type.
Hence, Santner could be a very good choice for KKR. Yes, the playing XI place may not be available for him right from the start but the Kiwi can be a good backup and an extra spin option at venues like Chennai. Of course, he brings in a lot of experience and batting value, as well.
3)Tushar Deshpande
Tushar Deshpande improved very much under the guidance of Dwayne Bravo. In fact, for the Indian pacers, he was the leader of the attack. He managed to take wickets in the powerplay and also did pretty well at the death.
Now, KKR may not get back their IPL 2024 pace attack. Since Bravo has worked and got the best out of Tushar, he could attempt to sign him.
