The Phoenix Suns have committed to Oso Ighodaro for the 2026-27 season, converting the young center’s contract into a fully guaranteed deal well ahead of future guarantee deadlines.
Ighodaro was previously set to receive only a partial guarantee before his salary gradually became protected throughout the season.
Instead, Phoenix chose to lock in the entire $2.3 million salary now, signaling confidence in his development and role within the organization.
The 6-foot-11 big man emerged as a reliable contributor during his second NBA campaign, appearing in all 82 regular-season games and making 24 starts.
His role grew even further in the postseason, where he started all four games in Phoenix’s first-round series against Oklahoma City.
Ighodaro averaged 6.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 22 minutes per game during the regular season.
He also elevated his production in the playoffs, posting 7.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per contest.
