A new, third, Stuntman game is in development, unveiled during a surprise trailer part of Sony’s June 2026 State of Play presentation.
In the middle of its fabled Driver series, Reflections Interactive created Stuntman, a 2002 driving game where you took the role of a… well, stunt (man) driver. Levels would consist of scenes in various fictional movies, requiring you to hit your marks in time and in science.
The difficulty was punishing, but the rewards were worth it. However, that UK-based studio never returned to the series, instead focusing on the ill-fated Driver 3. Sorry, Driv3r.
By 2007, THQ had the rights and employed Paradigm Entertainment to create a sequel – Stuntman: Ignition. The results were tepid, at best.
Now, Saber Interactive is trying to revive the franchise with Stuntman: Hollywood.
The trailer showcases unlicensed vehicles clearly inspired by real-world films. We see a modified organse sportscar jumping a train – reminiscent of a scene from The Fast and the Furious – and a while mid-engined vehicle racing through at night made us recall Miami Vice.
In fact, that’s exactly where they are from, but minus the Toyota and Ferrari car branding.

There’s a section with the actual Knight Rider from the 1980s David Hasselhoff TV show (and film spin-off), replete with the right noises, theme tune and driveable KITT. Speaking of licensed content, Back To The Future’s DMC DeLorean is also part of the roster.
Meanwhile, a fifth scenario is inspired by 2008’s Jason Statham romp Death Race. Precious little gameplay was shown, but it was included. The snippet showed motorcycle riding alongside car driving.

It has been confirmed that each film is split into episodes, with each having a star rating to aim for. Cars, “items, trophies and keepsakes” can be unlocked within a garage area.
It’s not yet clear which development team is creating Stuntman Hollywood under Saber’s stewardship, nor when a release is targeted. Wishlists are available now for PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5.
