Bayley’s future with WWE is facing new questions as her current contract continues moving toward its expiration date.
Her current WWE deal is set to expire at the end of this year. WWE and TKO are said to want to keep Bayley around, particularly because she is viewed as a locker room leader. However, there is currently no word on whether a new agreement has been reached.
The situation comes after Bayley spoke openly about her future during an interview with Chris Van Vliet in April 2025. At the time, she revealed she had about a year and a half left on her contract and admitted she wasn’t sure what would happen once that deal came to an end.
After discussing the time remaining on her contract, Bayley acknowledged that she has interests outside of wrestling.
“I have so many other things I want to make it into. I have a year and a half left on this current contract, so we’ll see what happens then. And then what? Man, I don’t know.”
Bayley also reflected on everything she has accomplished during her WWE career while admitting there is still more she wants to achieve.
“I think I’ve done everything I really want to do, not everything. There’s still a lot I want to get done, but done so much with WWE and I’ve been here for already 12 years and there’s a huge wave of women coming in that I think are ready to take over, ready to be in those spots.”
One of the more notable parts of the interview came when Bayley discussed the possibility that her in-ring career may not last forever. At the same time, she made it clear that she feels confident about the future of WWE’s women’s division.
“So when I think about okay, I might be done in a couple of years, who knows? I know that it’s going to be in good hands. So that makes me really happy.”
Bayley has been with WWE since late 2012 and has built one of the most decorated resumes in the history of the women’s division. After signing her current contract in December 2023, she remains one of the company’s most established stars both on television and behind the scenes.
With her current deal entering its final stretch, Bayley’s future is once again becoming a story to watch. WWE appears interested in keeping her, but Bayley has already made it clear that she has ambitions beyond wrestling as she considers what comes next in her career.
