The show opens up with Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T welcoming us to WWE NXT as we see the arrivals of WWE NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo and Kam Hendrix.
ZARIA then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Lizzy Rain follows.
Singles Match: Lizzy Rain vs. ZARIA
The match starts off with ZARIA sending Lizzy Rain into the corner and driving her shoulder into the midsection of her Rain. Rain then fights back with a dropkick. ZARIA then sends Rain outside the ring. Rain then hits ZARIA with a knee strike. Rain then follows it up with a hurricanrana. Rain then hits a chop. ZARIA then goes for Chokeslam, but Rain hits an enziguiri. ZARIA then hits Rain with a pump kick. Rain is then is favoring her lower back. ZARIA then continues to target Rain’s back. Tatum Paxley then makes her way down to the ring and ZARIA seems furious. Rain then tries to fight back and she hits a big boot.
ZARIA then hits Rain with a right hand and the fight spills to the outside. ZARIA then sends Rain against the hardest part of the apron. Back in the ring, ZARIA hits Rain with a clothesline. ZARIA then slams Rain into the mat for a near fall. ZARIA then hits Rain with a backbreaker. ZARIA then tries to choke Rain out opponent in the corner. Rain then tries to fight back again and she hits ZARIA with a running uppercut. Rain and ZARIA are now battling on the top rope. Rain then hits a hurricanrana off the top rope and ZARIA hits a Spear and both women are down.
Both women then trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Rain then hits a series of clotheslines and she follows it up with a springboard back elbow. Rain then hits ZARIA with a DDT for a near fall. ZARIA then hits a headbutt. ZARIA then goes for an F5, but Rain counters. ZARIA then hits a lariat to Rain. Rain then hits ZARIA with a cutter. ZARIA then hits a German Suplex and she follows it up with a Spear and an F5 for the win.

After the match, ZARIA gets Rain up for another F5 and Tatum Paxley tells her to stop. Paxley then says if you want this so bad, you can have your title match next week.
We then see Myles Borne and Tavion Heights and they are with Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux and he tells them to run it back. Heights then says they need to form a team and tear things up. Borne then reminds Heights he has a title to defend and Niko Vance and Shawn Spears walk behind them and Spears apologizes for last week. Izzi Dame then says they should just forget what happened last week. Dame then says they don’t make excuses. Dame then says she will put the title on the back burner because they have other business to deal with. Dame then says it is about you tonight.
DarkState then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Saquon Shugars attacks Cutler James from behind with a crutch. The DarkState vs. Tavion Heights and Myles Borne Match will no longer be happening right now and is possibly moved to later in the night.
OTM then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and The Culling follow.
Tag Team Match: OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) vs. The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance)
The match starts off with OTM wasting no time in attacking the Culling. Shawn Spears and Bronco Nima are now in the ring. Nima then hits a back elbow. Lucien Price is now the legal man. Price then hits a thunderous chop to Spears. Niko Vance then enters the fray and he takes the fight to Price. Both men are now going back and forth. Price then hits Vance with a clothesline. The fight then spills to the outside again. Price then sends Vance face first into the apron. Vance then sends Price into the ring post. The Culling then continues the beatdown on Price. Spears then hits a superkick to Price and Price hits a big back body drop.
Nima is back in the ring and he drops Vance off the apron. Nima then hits a backbreaker to Spears. Spears then sends Nima into the steel steps and into the barricade. Vance then hits a flying headbutt to Nima for a near fall. Vance then pounds away at Nima. Nima then hits Spears with a suplex. Price then drops Vance on the hardest part of the apron. Back in the ring, Price drops The Culling on the mat. Price then hits Vance with a knee for a near fall. Price then goes for a Chokeslam, but the numbers game catches up to him and Spears is busted open. Price then superkicks Vance. Nima and Price then hit a double team move on Vance for the win.

We then see Tate Wilder in the locker room and EK Prosper tells Wilder to not go crazy in his match. Wilder says he has to stand out and take chances. Kam Hendrix then shows up and says Wilder is reckless. Hendrix then says they started at the same time and he beat two champions and he is in the main event. Hendrix then says you haven’t won your first match. Hendrix then tells Prosper it is a big night for him because he can tell his grandkids that he was in the building the same night that he wins the title.
Jackson Drake then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night with The Vanity Project and Tate Wilder follows.
Singles Match: Tate Wilder vs. The Vanity Project’s Jackson Drake
The match starts off with both men locking up. Jackson Drake then applies a waist lock. Tate Wilder then fights back with a chop. Wilder then takes out The Vanity Project. Back in the ring, Wilder hits Drake with a clothesline. Ricky Smokes then gets on the apron, allowing Drake to regain control. Drake then drops Wilder on the turnbuckle. Drake then drives his shoulder into the midsection of Wilder. Drake then hits Wilder with a Gut-wrench Suplex for a near fall. Drake then applies an abdominal stretch and Wilder fights out of it. Wilder then hits Drake with a dropkick.
Both men are now going back and forth on the apron. Drake then hits an overhead kick and he follows it up with a Spear. Drake then heads to the top rope and he goes for a 450 Splash, but Wilder hits him with a TKO for a near fall. Wilder then hits Drake with a powerbomb and he follows it up with a Splash for a near fall. Wilder then takes Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor out. He has wiped everyone out. Myka Lockwood then attacks Wilder behind the referee’s back. Drake then hits a 450 Splash for the win.

We then see Emily Agard with Robert Stone and she asks about The Great American Bash. Stone says it will be a stacked card. Osiris Griffin then shows up and says he wants to know what happened. Griffin then says Dion Lennox is taking his place. Jasper Troy then shows up and he has some words with Griffin. Troy is then hit in the back with a chair and we see Lennox and Griffin destroying Stone’s office.
WWE NXT Women’s World Champion Lola Vice’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Vice then grabs a mic and she gloats about knocking out Izzi Dame last week. Vice then says she proved once again that she is a complete package. Vice then says she continues to prove everyone wrong. Vice then says she recalls telling herself that she would do everything in power to make it here. Vice then says who is next. Vice then says she knows she is a marked woman.
Kelani Jordan then makes her way down to the ring to interrupt Vice. Jordan then stakes her claim to the NXT Women’s Championship. Jordan then says she doesn’t think their stories are any different. Jordan then talks about making a name for herself outside of WWE. Jordan then says she is done asking for a title shot. Jordan then says she has beaten the likes of Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey. Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair then make their way down to the ring. Grey says she recalls winning the Iron Survivor and pinning both Jordan and Vice. Grey then says she thinks she is next in line for the NXT Women’s Championship. Grey then says she has a written receipt for Jordan after what she did to her best friend.
Jordan then says she doesn’t think Grey can win the big one. Vice then says she wants the two women to face each other, with the winner getting a shot at her NXT Women’s Championship at The Great American Bash. Jordan then steals Vice’s NXT Women’s Championship. Vice then accidentally takes out Grey with a back fist. Jordan then walks off with a smirk on her face.
We then see Shiloh Hill and Tatum Paxley talk about the Mr. NXT video package. Paxley says she knows that Hill will win and she doesn’t know if she will be able to see it because of her title match. ZARIA then attacks Paxley from behind and she hits Paxley with an F5 onto a production case. Hill then comes back to check on Paxley.
We then see Tony D’Angelo and asks Mason Rook if he is going to get involved in the match tonight. Rook says it should be his match, not Kam Hendrix. D’Angelo then says he will take everyone out one by one. Rook then says D’Angelo will beat everyone, but one person. Robert Stone then tells Rook he gets a chance at a potential title match. Stone then says Rook will face Naraku next week. D’Angelo then says if Rook wins next week, he jumps to the front of the line. Stone then tells Rook not to get involved tonight.
Romeo Moreno then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Lexis King follows with BirthRight.
WWE Men’s Speed Championship Match: BirthRight’s Lexis King (c) vs. Romeo Moreno
The match starts off with Lexis King and Romeo Moreno going back and forth. Moreno then hits King with a dropkick. Moreno then follows it up with a German Suplex. Moreno then hits a back elbow. King then hits a Stomp on Moreno and he follows it up with a running dropkick for a near fall. King then applies a Single Leg Boston Crab, but Moreno fights out of it. Moreno then hits King with a suplex. Moreno then hits King with a kick. Moreno then wipes out BirthRight.
Back in the ring, King applies a Single Leg Boston Crab on Moreno. King then runs into a boot. Moreno then misses a springboard moonsault. King then hits a Coronation for the win.

We then go to the lounge and Jaida Parker and Nattie are in the foreground. Nattie says Parker barely beat Layla Diggs. Nattie then says Parker’s performance was less than mediocre. Parker then says they can take it to the ring. Nattie then says she sees through Parker and she is not afraid of her. Nattie then says she sees through all of this and she knows that Parker is scared and soft.
We then see Keanu Carver walk up to Tate Wilder. Tavion Heights then shows up and says he wants to humble Carver. We then see Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair. Sinclair says she can’t be getting in Grey’s way. Sinclair then says she needs to focus on her recovery. Sinclair then says she wants Grey to face Kelani Jordan on her own.
DarkState then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Myles Borne and Tavion Heights follow.
Tag Team Match: WWE NXT North American Champion Myles Borne and Tavion Heights vs. DarkState (Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin)
The match starts off with Dion Lennox and Myles Borne locking up. Lennox then hits a shoulder tackle and Borne applies a side headlock. Osiris Griffin and Tavion Heights are the legal men now. Heights then hits a big boot to Griffin before tagging Borne in. Lennox then enters the fray, but suffers the same fate as his partner. Griffin then sends Borne into the corner. Griffin then goes for a Chokeslam, but Borne hits him with a dropkick. All four competitors are now on the outside and Heights drops Lennox on the mat. Back in the ring, Griffin slams Borne into the mat and tags Lennox in.
Heights is now in the ring and he hits a Fireman’s Carry on Lennox. Lennox then hits Borne with a backbreaker. Griffin then follows it up with a series of elbows. Griffin then hits a Vader Splash on Borne for a near fall. Lennox then gets back in the ring and he continues the beatdown on Borne. Borne has taken a lot of punishment in this match. Griffin then catches Borne mid-air and hits him with a World’s Strongest Slam for a near fall. Borne then hits a back body drop. Heights then comes in and he takes the fight to Lennox. Heights then hits a belly-to-belly suplex to Lennox. Griffin then enters the fray, but Heights sends him across the ring. Griffin then sends Heights into the post. Lennox and Griffin then hit a Doomsday Device to Heights for the win.

After the match, we see Saquon Shugars looking on from the balcony.
It is then announced that next week Tatum Paxley defends her NXT Women’s North American Championship against ZARIA, Kendal Grey faces Kelani Jordan in a WWE NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Match, Mason Rook faces Naraku and we will have a Mr. NXT Pageant.
Kam Hendrix then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Tony D’Angelo follows.
WWE NXT Championship Match: Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Kam Hendrix
The match starts off with Kam Hendrix hitting a Showtime Kick to Tony D’Angelo. Hendrix then follows it up with a neck breaker for a near fall. Hendrix then hits D’Angelo with a DDT for another near fall. D’Angelo then goes for a Chokeslam, but Hendrix rolls out of the ring. D’Angelo then hits a clothesline to Hendrix and he follows it up with a Splash in the corner. D’Angelo then sends Hendrix across the ring and sends him over the top rope. D’Angelo then sends Hendrix into the corner with authority. D’Angelo then applies a crossface, but Hendrix makes it to the ropes to force a break.
The fight then spills to the outside and Hendrix sends D’Angelo into the steel post. Back in the ring, Hendrix hits a clothesline to D’Angelo for a near fall. D’Angelo is then hit with a running elbow. Hendrix then hits D’Angelo with a suplex. D’Angelo then fights back and he hits a series of German Suplexes to Hendrix. D’Angelo then hits a Spinebuster. D’Angelo then hits Hendrix with a Fisherman’s Suplex for a near fall. Hendrix then tries to use the ring ropes, but the referee catches him red-handed. D’Angelo then hits Hendrix with another suplex for a near fall.
Hendrix then hits D’Angelo with a Showtime kick and he follows it up with a powerbomb for a near fall. Both men then exchange strikes in the middle of the ring. D’Angelo then hits Hendrix with a powerbomb for a two count. Hendrix then tries to get hold of a steel chair, but Mason Rook stops him. D’Angelo then sends Hendrix across the announce desk, but the desk didn’t break. Back in the ring, D’Angelo hits a Dead to Rights for the win.

After the match, Naraku hands Tony D’Angelo his NXT Championship, while Mason Rook looks on from ringside. We are then told that the match between Mason Rook and Naraku will now be a WWE NXT Championship #1 Contender’s Match as the show comes to a close.
