With the 2025/26 season having come to an end, Premier League clubs will already be looking at this summer’s transfer market.

All 20 sides will likely be active in the window, before the 2026/27 campaign begins in August.

Premier League champions Arsenal may have been beaten by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final in Budapest on Saturday, but the north London outfit will already be looking ahead to next term to see if they can defend their top flight crown.

With that in mind, it has emerged that the Gunners are eyeing a move to sign a talented teenager from the Football League.

As per journalist Ben Jacobs, Arsenal are one of several sides to have shown interest in Leicester City winger Jeremy Monga.

Jacobs claims that the Gunners are one of as many as eight top European sides from across Europe to have made enquiries about the 16-year-old, who is a product of the Foxes’ youth academy.

Monga made his senior debut for Leicester during a Premier League game against Newcastle United in April 2025 and has now featured 37 times across all competitions, scoring once and providing two assists.

This season he featured regularly for the Foxes but started just eight Championship games and was powerless to prevent their relegation to League One.

It is claimed that Arsenal are in talks over a deal to sign the teenager, who primarily plays on the left but is also capable of operating on the left flank.

Jacobs claims that the winger could cost in excess of £10 million although, due to his age, any potential deal could go to a tribunal to determine the amount of compensation that Leicester are entitled to.
