Liv Morgan is not lacking confidence during her current run as WWE Women’s World Champion.
During a conversation with WSFL, Morgan looked back on her rise from a childhood dream to becoming one of WWE’s top stars. The interview opened with Morgan being asked about growing up wrestling with her brothers in the backyard and later becoming a cheerleader before eventually making it to WWE. Morgan was asked whether she always believed she would end up in WWE one day. She said the dream was always there, even though it once felt almost impossible.
“I feel like I had always hoped and dreamed that I would. Did I really think? I think I had a deep belief that I would be able to do it, but I feel like growing up, um, how I grew up, it was very much a pipe dream.”
Morgan then turned that answer into a statement about her current place in WWE, saying she got to follow her dream and become what she called the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time.
“So, the fact that we got to follow our dreams and become the greatest women’s world champion of all time, um, I couldn’t be happier.”
That quote fits directly into Morgan’s current presentation. She is not just happy to be champion. She is talking like someone who believes she belongs at the very top of WWE’s women’s division.
Morgan also explained later in the interview that her revenge tour has mostly reached its goal, which makes her championship run feel like the start of something new. When asked what the next era of her career would be called, she created a new name for it on the spot.
“The revenge tour. I pretty much saw all the revenge. Huh.”
After the interviewer asked how she could top that, Morgan answered with a new label for her current run.
“This is the Liv Morgan Pop Star Championship Tour.”
Morgan also used the interview to explain why new fans should give WWE a chance, describing the company as a mix of live sports, performance, theater, and ongoing television drama.
“WWE is such a unique blend of athletics, performance, and theater almost, and like your favorite TV show.”
She then pointed to WWE’s weekly live presence on Netflix and said viewers who have not watched in a while could quickly get pulled back in.
“We are live every week on Netflix, so come and watch us. Listen, if you haven’t watched us in a while, I’m sure that you will be so enthralled and sucked into WWE like everyone else that watches.”
Liv Morgan’s latest comments show that she is fully leaning into her status as WWE Women’s World Champion. Whether fans agree with her “greatest” claim or not, Morgan is making sure everyone knows she sees herself as the center of the women’s division right now.
