660 Nationals Sportsman Spectacular: Car Show Adds to the Experience

SPARTA, ON – The Sportsman Spectacular at St. Thomas Dragway is set to deliver a full-throttle weekend of action June 12–14, 2026. Presented by 660 Sportsman Nationals, the Sportsman Spectacular is more than just an on-track event. The weekend is going to be jammed with loads of additional content and things to do, beyond the eighth-mile strip.

For example, on Saturday, June 13, the track will host a Car Show alongside the busy drag racing program, giving fans another reason to spend the day at one of Ontario’s most popular racing venues. It’s a natural fit for a weekend that already brings together racers, families, and automotive enthusiasts from across the region.

Running from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at St. Thomas Dragway (45633 Sparta Line, St. Thomas, ON), the show is open to all vehicles, making it an inclusive showcase of everything from classic muscle to modern imports and custom builds. Whether it’s a polished showpiece or a well-loved daily driver, participants are encouraged to bring what they’re proud of and be part of the atmosphere.

Entries will be judged across a variety of categories – GM, Ford, Mopar, Import, Bike, and Truck – along with an Organizer’s Choice award, ensuring a wide range of vehicles are recognized throughout the afternoon. To keep things lively, door prizes will be handed out during the day, and the first 100 registrants will receive a commemorative dash plaque as part of the experience.

The Car Show carries an entry fee of $20 per vehicle, with general participation set at $25 per person, and it’s designed to slot seamlessly into an already packed schedule of drag racing. Spectators can wander through rows of show cars, then turn their attention to the track to catch side-by-side passes, making for a dynamic, all-day entertainment lineup.

Adding to the weekend’s energy will be “What? Nooo Waaay!” guy Shaun Umscheid and his wife Julie, who will be part of the Sportsman Spectacular festivities. Their presence is expected to draw fans and add another layer of excitement.

For attendees, it simply means more to see, more to do, and more reasons to spend the day at the track. Bring your friends, bring your family, and bring your favorite ride – because on June 13, St. Thomas Dragway won’t just be about racing fast. It’ll be about celebrating car culture in all its forms.
