Six young England players will head to Schiltigheim in August to compete at the Euro Mini Championships, including three who will make their debuts.
The competition is for the youngest cohort of athletes from around Europe, competing in the Under-11 to Under-13 bracket. It is held every year at the same venue just outside Strasbourg, France.
The squad is:
Under-12 Boys: Lusio Wen, Luke Winton
Under-12 Girls: Mindy Gao, Bethany Yang
Under-13 Boys: Malek Shamakh
Under-13 Girls: Amber Lemmon
Lusio (pictured above, photo by Michael Loveder), Bethany and Amber all competed at last year’s edition, while Luke, Mindy and Malek are new to England representation.
Coaches Natalie Green and Ben Barlow will travel with the squad for the competition, from 28-30 August.
