A flag outside WWE headquarters caught fire Saturday night in Stamford, Connecticut.

The incident happened during windy conditions when a flag on WWE’s headquarters came loose from the building and hit a power line. The flag then caught fire. It is not known if anyone was hurt.

WWE opened its current headquarters at 707 Washington Blvd. in 2023. The building stands 13 stories tall and covers around 400,000 square feet. The company previously operated out of Titan Towers, its longtime Stamford headquarters. That building was constructed in 1989 and opened in 1991. Titan Towers became part of WWE history over the years, including being used for the Money in the Bank ladder match during WWE Money in the Bank 2020. WWE later sold Titan Towers in 2025 for $3.75 million to real estate firm MB Financial Group.

This was a strange scene outside WWE’s newer headquarters, as the wind turned a flag into a fire hazard after it hit the nearby power line.
