Multiple reports claim that Sassuolo have chosen Alberto Aquilani as their new coach, so Torino are now likely to hire Ignazio Abate.
The two tacticians had been in negotiations with both clubs, so it remained to be seen how they would split the jobs between them.
Last night, Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia reported that Torino were tired of waiting for Aquilani, who in turn seemed to be leaning more towards the Neroverdi.
Aquilani all set for Sassuolo

This evening, several more sources including Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato maintain that Sassuolo have agreed personal terms with Aquilani.
The former Liverpool midfielder had also played briefly for Sassuolo, then as a coach impressed at the Fiorentina youth academy and Pisa.
He made a big impression this season when taking Catanzaro to the Serie B promotion play-off final, losing narrowly to Monza.
Sassuolo in turn needed a new coach because Fabio Grosso has terminated his contract by mutual consent and is ready to take over at Fiorentina.
Considering Abate had been the alternative, it seems likely that Torino will now push on for the current Juve Stabia tactician.
However, there are other options, including Lecce’s Eusebio Di Francesco, and the potential return of Ivan Juric.
