SK Slavia Prague retained the Czechia men’s national title and a return ticket to next October’s Euro Hockey League thanks to a 1-0 final win over TJ Plzeň-Litice.

The only goal came with less than five minutes remaining of the contest when some neat ball handling worked the ball to Tomáš Weintritt on the left baseline where he smartly tucked the ball home on his backhand.

From there, they were able to stay in control for the remaining minutes and land the title.

They now qualify for the EHL ROUND1, marking their third appearance in the competition having played in 2022 (Hamburg) and 2025 (Barcelona).

It also completed a double for the club with the Slavia women taking the title earlier in the day with a 4-1 win over HC Praga 1946.
