WWE Money In The Bank Moved To New Date In New Orleans

WWE Money in the Bank is getting pushed back. The company announced that the 2026 event will now take place one month later than originally planned.

WWE confirmed on June 8, 2026 that Money in the Bank will now go down on Saturday, October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. The announcement was made in conjunction with the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and Legends Global.

That means fans heading to New Orleans for the premium live event will need to adjust their plans, because the show is no longer happening on its original date.

Money in the Bank remains one of WWE’s biggest annual events. The show features the famous ladder matches where Superstars fight for a briefcase containing a contract for a championship match that can be cashed in anytime within the next year.

Tickets for the rescheduled event will go on sale Friday, July 10 at 10 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster. Fans will also have access to an exclusive presale beginning Thursday, July 9 at 10 a.m. ET.

WWE also confirmed that official Money in the Bank Priority Passes will be available through On Location. Those packages will include premium seating, hospitality events with Superstar appearances, photo opportunities, and other upgraded fan experiences.

The date change gives WWE a new spot on the calendar for one of its biggest shows of the year. New Orleans has hosted major WWE events before, and now Money in the Bank will bring the briefcase chaos to the Smoothie King Center in October.
