The New York Knicks’ recent string of victories has come to an end as the team lost 115-111 to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3 of the NBA finals.
After Danhausen cursed the Knicks, they lost their next two games, but after being uncursed, they won over a dozen games in a row before this week’s loss with Donald Trump in attendance.
With Danhausen attending the latest game and the Knicks losing, some have been quick to suggest that it was the WWE Superstar’s fault.
On Twitter, the ‘Very Nice, Very Evil’ Superstar made it clear that he had nothing to do with the Knicks losing, with a throwback meme to Bart Simpson.
Danhausen’s curses have proven effective in and out of WWE. The face-painted Superstar joined the promotion at Elimination Chamber in February 2026.
Despite a mixed response to his debut, Danhausen has gone on to be a hit and was the third-best merchandise seller at WWE WrestleMania 42.
