June 9, 2026 — Top 10 for the week of June 7

There are only a couple of weeks remaining as the girls’ lacrosse season winds through brackets coast-to-coast, with the final games to be played in Portland, Maine on June 20th.

As such, there isn’t much movement in our Top 10, but there are going to be some dramatic finals this coming week, especially in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and New York. I think Class LL in Connecticut is going to be particularly spicy, given the fact that we could very well have an FCIAC rematch in the title game, but that would mean Darien (Conn.), our No. 3 team, would have to win today against West Hartford Conard (Conn.).

In the other half of that bracket, the game between Wilton and New Canaan features teams which have split the season series. Back on April 23, Wilton beat New Canaan in the regular season. But but New Canaan, in the FCIAC Tournament, beat Wilton 6-4 in the semifinal round. Today’s rubber match is going to be must-see.
