Racquet’s 2026 Summer Must-Have List

Racquet’s 2026 Summer Must-Have List

Our guide to the apparel, accessories, sticks and recovery devices we think will make your summer better than it was originally going to be. This year, footwear makes further inroads (we’ve found the best shoes!), as does sleep. You can never have enough of both.

Sportswear

CP Company

Everyone knows the best-dressed man on the tour is Italian Matteo Bellucci, sporting CP Company’s patterned tennis wear and a man bun that is the best version of itself. The only surefire way to differentiate between the encroaching hordes of handsome Italians is to remember that Bellucci is the one with the cool outfits. While you’re there getting the paisley shorts, maybe throw a goggle jacket into the cart, and roll up to every event this summer with shades built into your hood

Courting Windbreaker

Instagram is awash in new tennis brands—we get a pitch a week for someone’s new logo+dropship idea—so we were thrilled to get to check out the LA brand Courting this year. The collections are chic, with the right amount of tailoring and fresh ideas for now, but with a reverence for materials and silhouettes that invoke the right amount of nostalgia. This windbreaker hits all the notes.

Lacoste

Lacoste’s simple-yet-elegant designs are categorically French in that they tend to look chic on a wide array of players, from Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev and Venus Williams to the average public-court player. This year’s crop features high-waisted shorts, buttery polos—Lacoste invented them, after all—and tanks, all in a cream and navy palette. May we also suggest you get this mock-croc racquet bag? Magnifique!

Ace Club’s Save the Backhand Shirt

Witnessing a new generation of stars emerge has been exhilarating, but their emergence also signifies an abandonment of traditional tennis—specifically the misguided departure from the one-hander. Honor the legacy of the near-extinct backhand with this shirt from our Parisian friends at the Ace Club.

Wilson

Time and again, in the fashion show that is the pro circuit, the Wilson kits outshine and outperform those of nearly every other brand. We at Racquet are huge fans of their tennis dresses, but don’t sleep on their shorts: it’s hard to do women’s tennis shorts right, but Wilson does. This pair has four pockets. Four.

Serving

This UK-based queer tennis collective is doing a lot of good things. One of them is an outstanding hat that says Tired of Serving. If you want one, you’ll have to DM them on instagram. We think it’s worth the rigmarole and the shipping.

K•SWISS 60th Anniversary drip

For its 60th, K•SWISS and streetwear icon Anwar Carrots have collaborated on the coolest kicks since Pat Rafter made us all want to play in them. They’re on the heavy side—which some players love—and some styles definitely fill a dad-shoe hole, but in the best way. You’re not wearing through the toes of these puppies anytime soon. And they are cooommmfyyy, which any dad shoe should be if at all possible.

Family Office hat

Stick it to The Man by appearing to be The Man: a Family Office hat does hat things so you can play tennis and roll your eyes at capitalism at the same time

New Balance everything

New Balance truly has “got now.” They’ve also got us, because we love what they’re doing at a time when phoning it in appears to be both acceptable and lucrative. Tommy Paul for New Balance Made in U.S.A. is a mouthful, but we’ll allow it because it’s really good.

Tennis Insider Club Braco Hoodie

With the abundance of tournaments approaching for the summer season, you’re bound to end up attending at least one night match. Throw on this magnificent hoodie because A) it’s cozy and B) there’s a dog on it.

Malbon

Inspired by the culture of golf, this growing lifestyle brand is doing the good work of making Travis Matthew less ubiquitous. For that, and for their distinct visuals and chic designs, we thank them. To put it simply: if you’re wearing Malbon, you’re well dressed.

Lululemon slides

The best—certainly the smartest—players walk onto court in slides, make a big thing of putting on their tennis shoes, and then reverse it after they’re done. But not all slides are equal;  the Lululemon Restfeel’s plush cushioning and minimalist style say, “I play a lot of tennis, I respect my feet, and I have standards.”

Metrograph: Bjorn Borg The French

The French is one of the most iconic tennis films of all time, containing storylines that beautifully capture behind-the-scenes of the historic 1981 French Open. Metrograph’s merch is the perfect homage to an amazing film.

Tennis Whore

Matteo Berrettini, Casper Ruud, Arthur Fils, Emma Radacanu, and Paula Badosa have converted us from tennis fans to tennis whores—stop denying it and start embracing it. Originally inspired by Wimbledon, the movie, the Tennis Whore shirt celebrates all of us who give it up for tennis—you know who you are.

Travel

Final 8 Club

There is no better excuse to travel the world than for tennis (and we will allow pàdel). Membership in Final 8 means access to a world beyond the court: bespoke trips full of play, recovery and resetting; a global ticketing and coaching concierge; members-only on- and off-court programs in must-visit destinations around the world. Sound good? Of course it does. Join here.

Tune-up at the Mouratoglou Tennis Center at Horseshoe Bay Resort

Combine an easy visit to Texas Hill Country with some tough tennis at Horseshoe Bay Resort. The 7,000-acre spread on Lake LBJ boasts four golf courses, a big-and-expanding racquet center with six clay and six hard courts, and instruction à la Patrick Mouratoglou. It was Mouratoglou’s first U.S. location; it’s still the biggest, and the man himself considers it his American flagship location.

Accessories

Gucci Tennis Bag

Though we can’t send you back to the 70s, we can certainly help you dress like we did. Gucci’s Tennis Capsule collection features their classic bag that first made its debut on Jannik Sinner’s arm at Wimbledon—but now available in a breathtaking white colourway. You can’t top it, so you should cop it.

Babolat, but make it pàdel

Juan Lebrón (the former world No. 1 in pàdel, who’s known as El Lobo) has his own version of the Babolat Viper racquet. There’s a bag, too, because if you’re going whole-hog into pàdel, you’re going to need a bag to hold all the stuff. Including the Premura 3 Lebrón shoes because this is a whole thing now.

Warby Parker Sport sunglasses

Disruptor of the eyeglass market and darling of just about anyone who appreciates a bargain Warby Parker just released their Sport collection, just in time for summer (and our guide). The lightweight, stylish, well-crafted pieces, which boast a wider field of view and bespoke lenses for different activities, are key for anyone who wants to play in the sun without looking like The Boz. The brown lenses, in particular, are perfect for tennis, as they cut the glare and sharpen the yellows. Suddenly, it doesn’t matter which side of the court you’re serving on; you’ll track your toss and look fire as you do it.

Swiftwick Socks

U.S.-made of mostly recycled, renewable, or responsible fibers, these socks are good. We are partial to the quarter crews, which don’t get lost under our heels after big points. We’d be open to socks with little fuzzy balls on the backs, too, but for now we’re rocking the qc’s.

Technifibre TFight

A high-quality racquet is a good player’s best friend. Sport Technifibre’s TFight just like Medvedev does. With its mix of control, power, and maneuverability, the TFight delivers the spin and depth you need in order to take charge of every rally. And a bonus: its modern, sleek design pairs well with any kit.

Recovery

Show off your little red circles

Elite athletes everywhere swear by the ancient practice of cupping for recovery and healing. We’ve done it; we think it works (and we know the telltale hickies look legit). Therabody, godbless’em, have an at-home and on-the-go cupper. Cup accordingly.

Magna Hydration

What’s the best flavor? Blue. Need we say more? Ok technically it’s Blue Ice, and it tastes like some kind of berry concoction but what matters to those of us growing up with colors as flavors is that this gets you right in the nostalgia, plus it’s got triple magnesium.

Eight sleep

Since the start of the 2026 tennis season, Eight Sleep hats and t-shirts have been downright ubiquitous in player boxes around the globe. We know sleep hygiene is important; we’re all mouth taping and humidifying and cbd-ing now, so it’s only natural that we begin cooling or warming our actual beds for optimal sleep. It’s even more important if you’re a tennis pro (or an aspiring one).

Keep going all summer long

There’s jiggling, and then there’s massage: Rally’s orbital massager won’t bounce your eyeballs out of your head. It will get the knots out and allow you to get back out there for another round.

That’s it fruit bars

Just fruit. That’s it. These bars have become a favorite grab-and-go tennis snack for people who don’t want to wolf down a chocolate confection masquerading as a protein bar between sets. Throw a few in your bag and you’ll look like an adult when you snack.

Miscellany

Lite Tennis balls

Count this among the easiest adds to your summer bag: specially-designed foam balls that allow you to reclaim pickleball courts for tennis (the light balls let you fully swing a racquet without sending it flying). We at Racquet support court reclamation in all its forms. Bonus: we use them on the lawn (they bounce on grass!) for impromptu house-rules tennis almost every evening.

ACE

The coffee table books you have conspicuously lying around, and those you give to your host as a thank you for that delightful week by the sea, say a lot about you. ACE: the times & style of tennis by Sunita Kumar Nair (Abrams, 2026) says everything you want to say. The book itself is lovely; the fit-checks on point; the subject matter: of utmost importance as far as we’re concerned.

Forah Sun Milk

Tired: Sunscreen. Wired: Sun Milk! Made with minerals, derm-approved, and in a chic bottle (or if you prefer your sun protection in cream form, they’ve also got some streamlined tubes).

Universe of Harth candles

Supporting small businesses will never not be cool. Universe of Harth candles’ soothing scents are perfect for relaxation after a long day on the courts.
