Danhausen Denies Blame for Knicks Loss, Blames Trump? » TWNP-Wrestling News

It was a wild night at the World’s Most Famous Arena. The New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs went into Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden. Everyone from Mayor Zohran Mamdani to Timothée Chalamet to Tina Fey was in attendance. However, it was the presence of future and current WWE Hall of Famers, Danhausen and Donald Trump, that got MSG buzzing. With Danhausen uncursing the Knicks, they entered a 13-year playoff game-winning streak. Now that he saw them lose their first game in person, Danhausen denies blame. The Very Nice, Very Evil WWE Superstar also seemingly took a slight jab at President Donald Trump.

Madison Square Garden Boos Donald Trump

Famous New Yorker and controversial United States President Donald Trump declared that he would attend the Knicks vs. Spurs Game 3. President Trump’s arrival complicated typical security protocols.

For one, attendees were no longer permitted to have bags. They also needed to arrive at The Garden two hours early. In addition, MSG canceled its outdoor watch party.

President Trump’s appearance had a trickle-down effect on local bars and restaurants. Many watch parties were canceled or limited because of the Secret Service’s security zone around the perimeter. As a result, Midtown establishments on 6th, 7th, and 8th Avenues had to operate with a limited capacity.

Suffice to say, some members of the ever-brazen New York City crowd were not happy about President Trump’s attendance. The Commander in Chief appeared on the Jumbotron during the National Anthem.

As Broadway’s Avery Wilson gave a smashing rendition, the camera faded to Trump, who saluted the crowd. In turn, The City That Never Sleeps gave President Trump a massive booing.

Donald Trump Reacts to MSG Boos

Hulk Hogan’s last appearance saw the Donald Trump advocate get booed out of the building by the Los Angeles crowd. The President got the same treatment in the East Coast equivalent of LA when he appeared in NYC.

Donald Trump took the boos in stride. The WWE Hall of Famer smiled as the crowd let him have it. However, the Knicks’ Technical Director quickly killed the shot, returning to Avery Wilson. Nonetheless, Trump didn’t quite hear things as the rest of the world is reporting them.

When asked what he thought about his reception at the Knicks game, the President stated:

“I thought it was great. I mean, I thought it was amazing, actually. You mean when they had the camera on me? I thought it was very good. Yeah. It was certainly amazing. It was, I think, mostly cheers. It was, it was loud, and it was very enthusiastic.”

Donald Trump wasn’t the only WWE luminary in attendance. Knicks sensation Danhausen was also on hand, and the left-leaning Superstar had a reaction to Donald Trump’s claims of MSG cheering him.

Danhausen Reacts to Donald Trump Boos at MSG

For weeks, Danhausen has requested courtside seats to a Knicks game alongside Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet. While Danhausen didn’t get to sit next to Marty Supreme, the WWE Superstar was on hand with a custom Danhausen Knicks jersey.

Danhausen took in the Knicks game, as did Donald Trump. While he didn’t sit with the President, he heard the same crowd that Trump did.

So, Danhausen took to social media to share his thoughts:

Danhausen’s IG Story is seemingly about Donald Trump

Danhausen is a huge fan of The Simpsons. His use of Mr. Burns was seen as a direct dig at the controversial United States President. The WWE Superstar also added a “haha” gif over the meme to further drill home that he believes Trump is pulling a page out of Mr. Burns’ book by denying the crowd booed him.

Danhausen Was In Attendance for the Knicks Game

Danhausen cursed the Knicks around WrestleMania season when he was offended by ESPN anchor Stephen A. Smith’s attitude. Thankfully for New York fans, a fan paid Danhausen to uncurse the Knicks on Cameo. Just like a Danhausen experiment, boom! The Knicks went on a 13-game playoff winning streak.

In fact, they even faced the Cleveland Cavaliers before heading into the Finals. The Miz just so happens to be the biggest Cleveland sports fan ever. So, Danhausen’s curses aligned.

ESPN caught onto the sensation that is Danhausen. The Very Nice, Very Evil Superstar has been featured on many recap shows heading into the Finals. As the Finals reached New York, Danhausen pop-ups appeared in the area. New York fans love that Danhausen.

So, they were hoping his presence would help the Knicks win in 4. Now, that’s not the case. The Spurs defeated the Knicks 115-111, making the series 2-1 in favor of New York.

Danhausen Denies Blame for New York Knicks’ Loss

Knicks nation is looking for someone to blame for their team losing in Game 3. Don’t look at the man who uncursed the Knicks.

The painted Superstar posted another The Simpsons-related meme where Danhausen denies blame for the NBA team’s loss:

Danhausen insists he didn’t cause the Knicks to lose to the Spurs

Some people are reading into Danhausen’s words. When the Superstar says, “Isn’t the one to blame tonight,” is Danhausen blaming Donald Trump for the Knicks’ loss?

Danhausen Joined by Celebrities Ben Stiller, Cardi B, and More

It was a star-studded night in Madison Square Garden. Not only were Donald Trump and Danhausen on hand, but celebrities in sports and Hollywood were also in attendance.

Danhausen shared pics with former SummerSlam host Cardi B:

The Very Nice, Very Evil blimp-lover also took a ridiculously good-looking snap with former Jeff Jarrett rival, Ben Stiller:

Danhausen was just one of the many big names at the Knicks game, including:

  • Ben Stiller
  • Cardi B
  • Chris Rock
  • Danhausen
  • Donald Trump
  • DJ Khaled
  • Fat Joe
  • Jay Z
  • Larry David
  • Mariska Hargitay
  • Spike Lee
  • Teyana Taylor
  • Timothée Chalamet
  • Tina Fey

While the Knicks lost Game 3, Danhausen insists they are still uncursed. Hopefully, with Donald Trump in the rearview, it will be Knicks on five for New York fans. The famed NYC team hasn’t won the Finals since 1973.
