The latest UCI points rankings have been released. The most noteworthy change is that Loic Bruni, who has been the top men’s downhill racer in the world over most of the last ten years, has dropped to fourth place in the latest rankings. As he recovers from the injury he suffered a few weeks ago, he will most likely continue to move down in the rankings for the next couple of months until he can get back to racing again, which will probably be in August.
Jackson Goldstone holds onto the top spot in the Elite Men’s Downhill Rankings. America’s Luca Shaw is not far behind, though, thanks to Shaw’s World Cup win in Loudenvielle, less than two weeks ago.
Here are some of the key rankings right now:
ELITE MEN’S CROSS-COUNTRY
The top American man in these rankings is Christopher Blevins in 21st place. He dropped three places this week (as indicated by the red arrow after his ranking). Fellow American Riley Amos is now in 22nd place, jumping up five places this week.

ELITE WOMEN’S CROSS-COUNTRY
The top American women in the Elite Cross-country rankings are Madigan Munro, in 16th place, after jumping up six places in the past week, and Gwendolyn Gibson, who has jumped up three places to 20th in the latest rankings.

ELITE MEN’S DOWNHILL

Asa Vermette, who won his debut appearance in an Elite Men’s Downhill World Cup this year, is still in 14th place this week in the rankings, the same place he was last week. We expect he’ll probably be moving up after the Leogang World Cup race this coming weekend.

ELITE WOMEN’S DOWNHILL

The top American in the Elite Women’s rankings is Aletha Ostgaard, in 15th place.

Americans Anna Newkirk and Matilda Melton are now 25th and 26th in the rankings..

ELITE MEN’S ENDURO

ELITE WOMEN’S ENDURO

The top American in this division is Romy Williams, in 26th place.
