Cathy Kelley is feeling overwhelmed by the response she has received after announcing her autism diagnosis.
The WWE personality revealed the personal news during an appearance on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast. Kelley shared that she was recently diagnosed with autism, noting that the diagnosis might change some of the social dynamics in her life.
Cathy Kelley has now posted the following message on Twitter/X in response to the positive amount of fan support she’s received since the announcement. Kelley said that she is thankful for the words of kindness and encouragement people have sent her way, and feels very understood and welcomed into a new community.

“This past day’s been filled with reading messages and comments from people sharing their own stories, diagnoses and experiences and i honestly don’t know how to put into words how much it means to me,” Cathy Kelley wrote. “[A]nyone late diagnosed will know the feeling… i’ve spent my whole life watching others talk about wanting to stand out or be unique. meanwhile, all i ever wanted was to fit in
“And then that moment where it all finally makes sense,” she added. “[T]hank you to everyone who reached out with kindness or encouragement. thank you for making me feel so welcomed, included and understood. i hope one day i can return the favor.”
During the interview, Kelley also shared how Paul Heyman’s advice impacted her personal appearance, and addressed her potential WWE in-ring debut.
