As the New York Knicks took on the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals, several A-list celebrities were in attendance, including Taylor Swift, who donned a blue T-shirt with “Stevie Knicks” embossed on it.
The pop superstar’s appearance courtside drew plenty of reactions as she sat alongside Alana Haim and Este Haim. While Swift blew a kiss to the camera, Madison Square Garden held its breath with nervous anticipation, with the Knicks holding a 2-1 series lead.
How the NBA World Reacted to Taylor Swift at Knicks-Spurs Game 4
Jake Asman, a host at ESPN New York and a broadcaster for Mad Dog Radio on SiriusXM, had an interesting comment about Swift’s appearance.
Asman wrote, “Just proudly booed fraud Knicks fan Taylor Swift. Get lost. Nobody cares about you during the NBA Finals.”
Knicks Muse, which follows Knicks basketball all season long, also made its feelings clear about Swift’s appearance on Wednesday night: “Taylor Swift switched up so fast wow.”

Swift is no stranger to pro sports events and is best known for attending Kansas City Chiefs games to watch her fiancé, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, play alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Meanwhile, San Antonio entered the night trailing 2-1, grabbing a Game 3 win thanks to Victor Wembanyama’s 32-point performance on Monday night. The 22-year-old posted 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 blocks in that crucial 115-111 road win to keep San Antonio’s hopes alive.
And the Spurs seemed to have carried every ounce of that momentum right into Wednesday night, as they have taken a 90-75 lead over the Knicks to open the fourth quarter.
New York desperately needs adjustments to make a comeback on home court or risk the Spurs leveling the series.
