The clever Wolf Golf Scorecard app that keeps track of everything you need to play Wolf is now available on iOS as well as Android – and it’s currently free on iPhone.
If you enjoyed our first look at the Wolf Golf Scorecard app a few years ago, there’s good news for anyone who likes a side game on the course – especially fans of Wolf.
The smart little app that keeps track of points, teams, lone wolves and tee positions has had a fresh update and is now available on both iOS and Android, along with a new website at wolfgolfscorecard.com. Even better for iPhone users, the iOS version is currently free.
For the uninitiated, Wolf is a four–player game where you’re effectively playing for an amount per hole – but just like skins, it’s fun even if you’re only playing for bragging rights.
The “wolf” rotates each hole, and after everyone has teed off, the wolf decides whether to partner with someone for that hole or go it alone as the “lone wolf” for extra points. Teams change every hole and the winner is the player with the most points at the end of the round.
The Wolf Golf Scorecard app still handles all the fiddly bits for you:
- Tracks who is wolf each hole
- Lets the wolf pick a partner or go lone wolf
- Keeps a running tally of points and money
- Allows you to tweak stakes and scoring rules before you tee off
The interface remains simple and no-fuss, so you can set it up quickly and get back to playing golf rather than doing maths on the scorecard.
If you’ve never tried Wolf before, this is an easy way to introduce the game to your group and keep the scoring straight. If you already love Wolf, having a dedicated scorecard app makes it much easier to run the game properly without arguments on the 19th.
