WWE NXT Results: June 9, 2026

Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT (June 9, 2026) emanates out of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and airs at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.

Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT:

On tap for tonight’s episode, we’ll have the pageant to determine who is Mr. NXT between Shiloh Hill and Tristan Angels. Interesting that such a concept applies to people so new to the roster (particularly Angels) and that Hill is seemingly moving away from the tech + kind of psycho aspects of his character into a more generic goofy guy. I’m not sure that’s the best direction for him, as a fan of his, but we’ll see how this plays out once he wins this tournament. I have no idea who Matt Mathews is, and I assume Kit Wilson will vote for Angels, while Aaron Rourke will vote for Hill, so unless this is a more rigged contest for Angels to win to give him that nickname, the babyfaces usually win these kind of things.

Speaking of winning, two title shots and a championship are on the line as well.

Kelani Jordan strikes me as a more natural challenger for Lola Vice just by being babyface, so I’ll go with her over Kendal Grey. Between Mason Rook and Naraku, that’s much harder to predict, and I honestly think it’s going to a draw or no-contest so neither has to take the fall, setting up a Triple Threat at Great American Bash instead.

There is a solid chance Zaria defeats Tatum Paxley to win the NXT Women’s North American Championship. It wouldn’t shock me if she doesn’t, considering how few times WWE actually lets Zaria win things, but surely it’s about time to give her some wins that actually matter, right?!

Here are your results for WWE NXT – June 9, 2026:

• Fraxiom (Axiom and Nathan Frazer) picked up a pinfall victory over Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno.
• Sarah Schreiber introduced the judges for the Mr. NXT pageant: Aaron Rourke, Kit Wilson and comedian Matt Mathews. Tristan Angels won the first round, which focused on attire. Later, During the talent portion of the Mr. NXT pageant, Shiloh Hill solved a Rubik’s Cube in under a minute and followed that up with a spinning routine. Tristan Angels tried to answer with his own Rubik’s Cube attempt, but failed and threw it away. Hill also outperformed Angels at juggling, earning a point and tying the competition. The final category was announced as public speaking. Finally, in the public speaking portion of the Mr. NXT pageant, Angels praised his own looks and insulted everyone else. Shiloh Hill spoke about how quickly he has been cycling through characters in NXT, admitted he does not have everything figured out, and said he is willing to roll with the punches. Matt Mathews voted for Hill, while Kit Wilson voted for Angels despite calling him toxic. Aaron Rourke left the final decision to the fans, who chose Hill. Shiloh Hill was crowned the first-ever Mr. NXT, only for Angels to attack him immediately afterward.
• No. 1 Contender’s Match for the NXT Championship: Naraku defeated Mason Rook by pinfall after Kam Hendrix interfered and distracted Rook.
• Backstage, Myles Borne again told Tavion Heights that his attention should be on the NXT North American Championship. Heights took issue with that and suggested he might challenge Borne for the title himself. The Vanity Project then interrupted and talked trash, which led to Heights challenging Jackson Drake to a No. 1 contender’s match next week. The winner will face Borne at Great American Bash.
• No. 1 Contender’s Match for the NXT Women’s Championship: Kendal Grey defeated Kelani Jordan by pinfall.
• Naraku interrupted Tony D’Angelo’s interview about Great American Bash and handed the NXT Champion an invitation, which sets up their Face-to-Face for next week.
• Dion Lennox defeated Jasper Troy by pinfall. Afterward, Saquon Shugars appeared in a pre-taped message on the TitanTron to distract Lennox and Osiris Griffin. Shugars then attacked Griffin from behind with a baseball bat and escaped before Lennox could catch him.
• Footage aired of Jaida Parker attacking Nattie at the Hart Dungeon. They will face each other next week.
• Keanu Carver was frustrated that Naraku and others have received NXT Championship opportunities before him. Robert Stone told Carver to give him until next week to find an opponent. Carver warned that if Stone does not, he will choose his own target.
• Izzi Dame was irritated about being placed in the WWE Speed tournament rather than going after the more important titles, but Shawn Spears explained that he arranged it because beating Thea Hail should be an easy path for Dame to win gold and get things back on track for The Culling. Dame and Niko Vance then agreed with Spears and told him that was a good plan.
• Zaria defeated Tatum Paxley to win the NXT Women’s North American Championship!
