Impis responded through scrum-half Robert Ssentongo, who dotted down after a series of powerful mauls and pick-and-go phases. Darren Aine added the conversion to level matters at 7-7.
Buffaloes regained control when Hector Twinomugisha powered over for their second try, with Waswa once again successful from the tee to make it 14-7.
