WWE is already cashing in on Danhausen’s Knicks moment.
The New York Knicks won their first NBA Championship in 53 years after beating the San Antonio Spurs 94-90 in Game 5 of the 2026 NBA Finals. That was a massive moment for New York, but it also gave WWE a perfect chance to sell some merch.
Danhausen became part of the Knicks’ playoff story after “uncursing” the team during their championship run. Once the Knicks actually won it all, WWE did not waste much time turning that crossover into a money move.
WWE has now released a Danhausen x New York Knicks T-shirt line, with designs tied directly to the “uncursed” storyline and the Knicks’ 2026 NBA Finals win.
The shirts are listed at $34.99 each and include:
- Men’s Black Danhausen x New York Knicks Uncursed T-Shirt
- Men’s Blue Danhausen x New York Knicks 2026 NBA Finals Champions T-Shirt
- Men’s Navy Danhausen x New York Knicks Uncursed T-Shirt

This comes after WWE was already said to be interested in Danhausen’s connection to the Knicks. There had been talk about using him at Madison Square Garden for Saturday Night’s Main Event if New York won the NBA Finals, and there were also ideas for Fanatics Fest that same weekend.
Now, before anything else happens on-screen, WWE is making sure fans can buy into the moment. The company clearly saw the chance to turn Danhausen’s weird Knicks connection into merchandise, and they jumped on it fast.
It remains to be seen whether WWE does anything bigger with Danhausen at Madison Square Garden or Fanatics Fest, but the merch rollout shows they are not ignoring the moment. The Knicks won the title after being “uncursed,” and WWE is already making money off the story.
