Jack Perry Current AEW Contract Nearing Expiration

Jack Perry’s AEW future is being worked out right now.

Perry has been with AEW since the company started in 2019, but his current deal is nearing the finish line. Bryan Alvarez noted that Perry is now negotiating a new contract with the company. Alvarez kept the update short and direct.

“Jack Perry’s deal is up and he’s currently negotiating.”

Perry last wrestled on the May 27 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he lost to Mark Davis in an Owen Hart Foundation tournament match. That came after Davis beat him for the AEW National Championship on May 9 during the Fairway to Hell special.

Perry has had several different chapters in AEW. He first made his name as Jungle Boy and teamed with Luchasaurus as Jurassic Express. In 2023, he turned heel and later won the FTW Championship.

His AEW run also included one of the company’s most infamous backstage stories. Perry was suspended after a backstage altercation with CM Punk, which later led to Punk’s termination from AEW.

Perry returned in 2024 and joined a new version of The Elite. He later won the TNT Championship, but after losing that title, he stayed off television through the fall of 2025 before returning and reuniting with Luchasaurus.

Now, Perry’s contract situation is something to watch. AEW has invested a lot of television time into him over the years, and with negotiations happening, fans will have to wait and see whether he stays with the company long-term.
