Everyone from Mayor Zorhan Mamdani to Mariska Hargitay is rejoicing that the New York Knicks broke the 53-year curse. While Danhausen is remaining humble about the Knicks’ teamwork, NYC fans believe that the WWE Superstar is a good luck charm.
After the Knicks finished off the Spurs in Game 5, Danhausen took to social media to offer his praise. Danhausen pitched being present at the parade. The WWE Superstar even suggested a Danhausen float be present.
Anything can happen now because Danhausen was invited to the Knicks parade.

WWE cameras will be present for the Knicks parade. The NBA Champions will follow the famous Canyon of Heroes route on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Festivities will begin at 10:00 am at Battery Park, travel along Broadway, and commence at City Hall. WWE will be on hand to capture it all. In fact, the TKO-owned company is hoping to turn the Danhausen-Knicks story into a documentary for YouTube.
