WWE NXT had some action before the cameras ever started rolling on The CW and Netflix.

Before the June 16 episode of NXT officially went live, WWE ran three non-televised matches for the crowd in attendance. That means fans watching at home never got to see these bouts, but the live audience got a little bonus before the show kicked off.

Skylar Raye picked up a win over Jessica The Unknown in one of the pre-show matches. EK Prosper also got in-ring time and defeated Kale Dixon before the broadcast began. Wendy Choo was also in action, and she walked away with a win over Meghan Walker.

The non-televised results before the June 16 WWE NXT broadcast were:

  • Skylar Raye defeated Jessica The Unknown
  • EK Prosper defeated Kale Dixon
  • Wendy Choo defeated Meghan Walker

These dark matches are a good way for WWE to get extra reps for NXT talent while giving the live crowd something more than what airs on television. It also gave EK Prosper some momentum before he was set up for a confrontation with Keanu Carver later in the night. NXT had plenty going on once the cameras started rolling, but the fans in the building got to see a little more than everyone watching from home.

Which of these pre-show matches would you have wanted to see make the actual NXT broadcast?
