The Wimbledon draw ceremony will be held the week immediately following Halle and Queen’s Club, so those ATP 500 tournaments mark the final battle for positioning in the rankings in advance of the year’s third Grand Slam.

Carlos Alcaraz is out of Wimbledon because of a wrist injury and Valentin Vacherot has also withdrawn, so a top 34 ranking (not top 32) is required to earn a seed.

Jockeying for a top-four seed at the All-England Club is especially important, as it guarantees avoiding Jannik Sinner (and Alexander Zverev) at least until the semifinals. Both No. 3 and No. 4 (but especially No. 4) are in play. Felix Auger-Aliassime has the inside track and Ben Shelton is also in pole position following his Stuttgart title. However, Alex de Minaur will pass Shelton if the Aussie goes farther at Queen’s Club than the American does in Halle. Taylor Fritz would have a shot at the fourth spot if he wins the Halle title.

Here is the current seeding chart for Wimbledon (taking absences of Alcaraz and Vacherot into account) based on live ranking points at the start of the week:

1. Jannik Sinner (13,450)
