Bad Ass Construction Worker thinks WWE NXT is cooked, and he is putting the whole mess on Shawn Michaels.
WWE called up a pile of NXT’s biggest names before WrestleMania earlier this year, including Trick Williams, Oba Femi, Je’Von Evans, Blake Monroe, and others. That left NXT looking stripped down, with a bunch of fresh Evolve talent suddenly filling the screen. Basically, if you do not watch Evolve, half the show now feels like a lineup of random kids WWE swears you should care about.
Bad Ass Construction Worker is not buying it. In his latest rant, he called out Michaels directly, or “Shane Michaels,” because that is how he rolls, and said NXT used to actually be badass before the roster got gutted.
“Hey, Shane Michaels. Way to f*cking ruin nxt. It used to be real good.”
He then brought up the names he actually liked from the old version of the brand, even giving props to people he still hates.
“F*cking tomato champan. F*cking Cran Eater Cross. Even my enemy, Barefoot McGriddle. It was badass.”
Then he tore into the current version of NXT, saying the show is now full of young talent nobody wants to watch. The only exception, according to him, is Josh Briggs, because Briggs is on his side.
“And now it’s a bunch of punk ass kids that nobody wants to watch. And then one old man, Josh Briggs. But he’s on my team. He doesn’t count as NXT.”
Bad Ass Construction Worker did not just complain either. He offered himself up as the guy who can save the show, because apparently Shawn Michaels needs a supervisor.
“Shane Michaels. Hit me up if you need a supervisor to save the f*cking show, cuz you’re f*cking drowning, bud. Your show sucks.”
That is about as subtle as a steel chair to the face. The rant is wild, but it hits on something fans have been saying since WWE raided NXT before WrestleMania. The brand lost several top names at once, and the replacement wave has not clicked with everyone yet. While NXT is trying to rebuild, Bad Ass Construction Worker thinks the rebuild looks like a disaster job site with no foreman.
