Kevin Durant’s longstanding “Aunt Pearl” series has made the future Hall of Famer synonymous with pink basketball sneakers, but this upcoming Nike KD 19 has an identity of its very own. The latest monochrome colorway to hit the net carries an official nickname of “Bubble Gum Bounce,” shown here via official retailer images.
Not unlike SGA’s first signature shoe, the KD 19 has been steadily emerging in simple monochrome colorways in the lead-up to its debut: red, orange, purple, yellow, blue, and now pink, Hyper Pink to be exact. The model’s built-in sheen fits perfectly with the nickname “Bubble Gum Bounce,” aligning perfectly with the look of a mouthful of Dubble Bubble.
