Diana Strong Puts Rings of Europe on Blast After Allegedly Photoshopping Topless Image of Her Backstage

Diana Strong is warning other women in wrestling after a nasty situation with Rings of Europe.

Strong claimed via Instagram Stories the promotion printed a large picture of a topless woman with her face photoshopped onto it, slapped the words “Dirty Diana” under it, showed it around backstage, and then left it in the men’s locker room. She says she never agreed to any of it.

This comes while Rings of Europe is already getting dragged online over the Violet Nyte situation. The promotion’s owner has been accused of leaking Nyte’s real name and shaming her, along with other female wrestlers.

Strong said she was not excited to show up for Rings of Europe after hearing what happened with Violet Nyte, but she still went because she was champion and had not personally had a bad experience there before. Then she said things changed fast.

“After hearing about @violetnytepw situation I wasn’t very excited to come to RoE today. I have decided to do it, because I was the champion and nothing bad have happened to me there. Until todya.”

Strong claimed that before she even arrived at the show, she heard that people in power at the company had made the image and proudly showed it to people backstage

“Before arriving to the show heard that the people in power of this company have printed a big picture of a topless girl with my face photoshopped into it and wrote ‘Dirty Diana’ below it. Then they have proudly shown it to every person backstage before leaving it in men’s locker room.”

According to Strong, the excuse she heard was that it was supposed to be for a storyline. She shut that down immediately and said she never knew about it and never gave permission. Then she ended the post with a warning.

“The only explanation I heard was ‘it was made for a storyline reason.’ I have never heard anything about. I have never agreed for it.”

“Ladies be careful when accepting bookings.”

That is the whole issue. Strong is saying this was not some angle she approved. She says she found out after the fact that her face had been put on a topless image and shown around backstage. Calling that a “storyline reason” does not make it better if the wrestler involved never agreed to it.

The situation spread quickly online, with fans calling out Rings of Europe and showing support for Strong and Violet Nyte. One account refused to repost the Violet Nyte material because it included her real name, while ripping the promotion for allegedly doxxing a wrestler.
