Mark Davis is set to return to Revolution Pro Wrestling later this month.

RevPro has announced an AEW National Championship match for its June 21 event in Southampton, England. In the featured title bout, reigning champion Mark Davis will defend the championship against Joe Lando.

Davis captured the AEW National Championship earlier this year and will now take the title back to the UK for a high-profile defense as part of RevPro’s upcoming show. Lando, one of RevPro’s rising stars, will look to score a major upset by dethroning the champion in front of his home-country fans.

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) are set to take their long-standing partnership to the next level with the launch of a brand new event.

The two promotions announced NJPW vs. CMLL: Lucha Kingdom, which will take place on November 16 at Arena Mexico. The show will feature talent from both companies competing in promotion-versus-promotion matches, pitting NJPW stars directly against CMLL wrestlers.

The announcement was made during Fantastica Mania, the annual collaborative tour between NJPW and CMLL. While Fantastica Mania showcases talent from both organizations, its card does not exclusively focus on inter-promotional competition.

Lucha Kingdom will mark the first event under this banner and represents another milestone in the relationship between NJPW and CMLL, which has remained strong since the two companies established their partnership in 2008.

A new chapter in the Styles family legacy is about to begin.

The event, titled Freedom Fling, will take place at the Royston Dome in Royston, Georgia. Avery’s first opponent will be Ashton Martin, who is representing The Program.

Adding even more significance to the occasion, AJ Styles will be in his son’s corner for the debut match.

Independent wrestler Diana Strong has publicly accused Austrian promotion Rings of Europe (RoE) of inappropriate backstage conduct, alleging that a photoshopped image featuring her likeness was created and displayed without her knowledge or consent.

The allegations surfaced following a recent RoE event and come as the promotion is already facing online scrutiny over separate claims involving wrestler Violet Nyte. RoE has not publicly responded to Strong’s accusations.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Strong explained that she was already reluctant to work the event after hearing about Nyte’s experience. However, as the reigning champion, she chose to honor her booking. She wrote,

“After hearing about @violetnytepw situation I wasn’t very excited to come to RoE today. I have decided to do it, because I was the champion and nothing bad have happened to me there. Until today.”

“Before arriving to the show heard that the people in power of this company have printed a big picture of a topless girl with my face photoshopped into it.”

“The only explanation I heard was ‘it was made for a storyline reason.’ I have never heard anything about. I have never agreed for it.”

“Ladies be careful when accepting bookings.”

As of this writing, Rings of Europe has not issued a public statement regarding the allegations.
