A pattern in the King of the Ring points to Jey Uso winning the crown

At the start of the King of the Ring tournament, Roman Reigns gave Jey Uso his marching orders: win on your own. To his credit, that’s exactly what “Main Event” Jey has done.

While Uso hasn’t leaned on his family for help, a pair of assists from unlikely sources have worked in his favor.

The “yeeter of worlds” advanced out of the first round after capitalizing on interference by Solo Sikoa that was meant to help Royce Keys. Against Je’Von Evans in Friday’s SmackDown semifinal, Uso won clean. However, Evans was less than 100 percent after The Vision attacked him four days earlier on Raw.

That pattern is worth watching as Uso heads into the finals against Oba Femi, a man at war with Brock Lesnar.

After punching his ticket to the finals, Femi put everyone on notice, including the former WWE and UFC Champion. He questioned whether Lesnar was “even a man” after “The Beast” disappeared following his victory over “The Ruler” at Clash In Italy to even their feud at 1-1.

Based on Uso’s run through the tournament, Lesnar’s response to Femi could come at Night of Champions, capping off a solo effort for Uso aided by everyone but the Bloodline.
