The seven-time world champion finally ended his wait for a first Ferrari victory after nearly a year and a half in red, dramatically reigniting his title challenge as Kimi Antonelli was forced to retire in the closing stages of the race with a technical issue.
With Formula 1 enjoying a weekend off before the Austrian Grand Prix, Hamilton swapped the paddock for the fashion world as he headed to Milan for Ralph Lauren’s Spring/Summer 2027 menswear show.
The Ferrari driver was one of the standout guests at the event, joining a star-studded lineup that included Colman Domingo, Maluma, Scott Eastwood, Henry Golding, Joe Locke and Jacob Rott. Also in attendance were Tom Hiddleston and David Lauren, with the guests gathering at the brand’s elegant Milan palazzo for the unveiling of the latest Purple Label and Polo Ralph Lauren collections.
Videos of Hamilton’s appearance quickly spread across social media, with the Ferrari driver embracing the spotlight as he posed for cameras in a stylish outfit and sunglasses, looking every bit the fashion model as he made his way through the event.
Villeneuve blasts Hamilton’s ‘stupid’ comment: ‘Why would he say that?’
During the Canadian Grand Prix weekend, Hamilton was asked about Gilles Villeneuve and admitted he was only broadly familiar with the Canadian’s achievements. The Ferrari driver praised Villeneuve’s spectacular style and ability to control a car on the edge, describing him as one of the sport’s greats before adding that he was “obviously far better” than his son Jacques.

“He did make a stupid comment in Montreal, where he said at least my dad is better than me. I was like: ‘Why would he say that?’ I don’t remember criticising him, so I don’t think that was about me, no. It must have been about you from the time you were together. Come on.”
