Positive Update on Liv Morgan After Injury Scare at WWE Live Event

Liv Morgan gave fans a real scare in Birmingham, but it sounds like she may have dodged the worst of it.

During the WWE live event, Liv defended her title in a four-way match against Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria, and IYO SKY. The scary moment came when Sol hit a splash and appeared to catch Liv awkwardly near the ankle or foot. Liv went down in pain, rolled out of the ring, and later returned while limping, which had fans immediately fearing the worst.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez said the spot may not have been as bad as it looked. Meltzer noted that while people first thought Sol landed on Liv’s knee, it appeared to be closer to the foot. He also pointed out that the referee checked on Liv and gave the signal that she was okay: “The referee did raise the one fist, which signals that Liv was okay.” Meltzer added that Liv was still favoring it a bit, but she finished the match and completed her spots: “She was limping a little”

Liv also tried to calm everyone down herself, posting on Twitter that she was fine and heading to London. That is a big deal because she is expected on RAW with IYO SKY to build toward their Queen of the Ring final at Night of Champions on June 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Bottom line, the injury scare looked ugly, but Liv is saying she is good, the ref signal suggested she was okay, and she is still expected in London. Now fans will be watching RAW closely to see how she is really moving.

Do you think Liv Morgan will be fully ready for IYO SKY at Night of Champions? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
