After botching her finishing move on her debut, WWE has gone to great lengths to protect the popular star from future mishaps. In fact, they even had Sol Ruca change how she delivers her Sol Snatcher. Less than 24 hours after wrestling a House Show in Birmingham, England, Sol Ruca blacks out her X account. That’s because Tyler Bate’s main squeeze was getting a lot of flak for potentially injuring Liv Morgan in a Fatal Four-Way Match. Here’s the latest on Liv Morgan’s injury and Sol Ruca backlash.
Liv Morga Injury Scare on European Tour
The injury bug keeps attacking WWE, and officials fear that Liv Morgan might be the next to go down. Liv Morgan defended the Women’s Championship against Lyra Valkyria, Iyo Sky, and Sol Ruca in a Fatal Four-Way Match.
At one point, Raquel Rodriguez ran down the aisle in Meta glasses. Big Mami Cool threw Lyra Valkyria into the turnbuckles to help Liv Morgan get the advantage. However, Iyo Sky evened the odds by stabilizing the Tejana Bomb master with a Suicide Dive.
With The Judgment Day neutralized, Sol Ruca looked to take advantage. The Raw newcomer hit the ropes for a springboard. She turned in midair to lay Lyra and Liv out with a Cross Body Block. Valkyria sidestepped the move, while Liv Morgan was still turning toward the IC Champ.
Unfortunately for Liv, Sol Ruca came down fast and hard. The Women’s Intercontinental Champion landed hard on Liv Morgan’s right leg. Videos show the knee caving in, as The Judgment Day member crumbled to the mat.
Sol Ruca attempted a pin on the Women’s Champ, but Lyra Valkyria broke up the pin attempt. Liv Morgan immediately clutched her leg and rolled outside of the ring.
Liv Morgan Finishes Match After Leg Injury Scare
Fans in Birmingham were concerned that Liv Morgan suffered a serious injury at the hands of Sol Ruca. While the Women’s Champion continued on with the match, she was reportedly heavily favoring her right leg.
By the end of the match, The Judgment Day at ringside recovered, proving to be an invaluable presence for Liv Morgan. Things started to break down as Iyo Sky flattened Lyra Valkyria with an Over the Moonsault. Unfortunately for the favorite to win Queen of the Ring, Iyo Sky’s pin attempt was broken up by Liv Morgan. Liv Morgan threw her Queen of the Ring opponent into the ringpost, as Lyra Valkyria used the ropes to pull herself up.
Liv Morgan seemed to ready herself for an ObLIVion. However, Sol Ruca ran past them, scaled the ropes, and dopped Morgan and Valkyria with a dual Sol Snatcher.
Sol Ruca pinned Lyra Valkyria for the victory, but Raquel Rodriguez pulled her out of the ring. Roxanne Perez entered the ring to drag Liv Morgan on top of Lyra Valkyria’s body for the win. Raquel Rodiguez lifted Liv Morgan over her shoulders like a Torture Rack as the wobbly-legged Champion held her belt up high.
Liv Morgan Appears Fine After Injury Scare
While Liv Morgan’s leg took a beating, the Women’s World Champion seemingly dodged a serious bullet. After all, WWE Creative is already in limbo with Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley’s knee injury. Plus, Liv Morgan is heavily figured into plans for Night of Champions and SummerSlam.
While Liv Morgan limped out of the ring, backstage reports indicate she was walking much better by the end of the night. So, fans of Liv Morgan can rejoice as the 4-time Women’s Champion is heading to Raw in London, England.
