Anno Sale on Humble Store

Anno Sale on Humble Store

The Humble Store has a sale on Ubisoft’s Anno series, providing deep discounts on the various entries in the city-builder franchise.

First created by Max Design in 1998, the Anno series has taken its brand of city-building strategy to all sorts of times and places over the past 28 years, with a variety of spin-offs along the way.

The series made its console debut in 2019 with Anno 1800, renewing interest in it, and just last year, Ubisoft Mainz released the eighth mainline Anno game with Anno 117: Pax Romana.

With such a rich history, there’s a pretty fascinating trajectory for the series, as it has been handed from studio to studio over the years, changing the time and place with each subsequent title.

Anno Sale Offers Storied History at Humble Prices

So a sale gives curious players a great opportunity to ample that lineage at discounted prices. The aforementioned Anno 1800 is probably the highlight of this sale, as its Definitive Anniversary Edition is currently 50% off at £57.49.

That might sound like a steep price for a seven-year-old game, but it does include a whopping twelve expansions and 16 cosmetic packs!

If you don’t want or need everything, then the individual game and season passes are also 50% off, with the base game priced at £12.49 and the season passes at £10.49 each.

If you wish to take it further back, then 2009’s Anno 1404 and 2006’s Anno 1701 will cost you under ten pounds combined, with 1404’s History Edition costing just £3.74 and 1701’s set at just £4.29.

Heading to the far future, 2015 entry Anno 2205 from Ubisoft Blue Byte has its Ultimate Edition, featuring its six expansions, going for a pretty generous £10.49. This is my favourite one as it lets you grow civilisation not only on Earth, but also in space and even on the Moon!

As ever, if you’re a Humble Choice subscriber, you can get further discounts on all these games.
