Monday couldn’t have gone much worse for the White Sox rookie-level affiliates. The ACL White Sox and DSL White Sox each suffered blowout losses, falling by a combined score of 30-10. Each team also squandered first-inning leads.
Sebastian Romero launched his sixth home run of the season, while Eduardo Herrera picked up his first homer. Also for the ACL Sox: Marcelo Alcala reached base five times.
All this and more in today’s farm report:

Christian Oppor continued to struggle with command, walking four and allowing a run over 1.2 innings of work. The bullpen behind him didn’t fare any better, with third baseman Jefrank Silva making the team’s only scoreless appearance in the loss.
