Former Arsenal and Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey has taken on his first permanent managerial role, joining Oxford United following their relegation from the Championship.
Ramsey made 262 Premier League appearances for Arsenal between 2008 and 2019, scoring 40 goals and supplying 46 assists for them in the competition.
He won three FA Cups with the Gunners before departing for Juventus, where he lifted one Serie A title and one Coppa Italia.
The Welshman also represented Cardiff City, Nottingham Forest, Rangers, Nice and Pumas UNAM during his playing career, as well as helping his country reach the semi-finals of Euro 2016.
He spent three games as Cardiff’s caretaker manager at the end of 2024-25, failing to prevent the Bluebirds’ relegation to League One. He will now coach at that level next season, after taking over recently relegated Oxford.
