Nate Ament was a Tennessee Volunteers one-and-done, spending his freshman season in Knoxville before declaring for the 2026 NBA Draft. Ament is expected to be a lottery pick in the draft, and his standout play is a large reason why.
The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 16.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 29.7 minutes per game during the 2025-26 men’s college basketball season. The stretch forward proved his shooting potential, making 5.6 free throws per game at a 79.0% clip while also making 1.3 3-pointers per game and shooting 33.3% from beyond the arc. The Virginia native also showed activity on the defensive end, averaging 1.0 steal and 0.6 blocks per game.

Ranked as the No. 4 overall recruit in the 247Sports Composite rankings, the Charles J. Colgan Sr. High School graduate justified that position with his play this season, earning a spot on the All-SEC Freshman Team. Although Ament arrived in Knoxville as a top-five talent, his girlfriend, Jazzy Davidson, outclassed him. Davidson is a 6-foot-1 guard who was ranked as the No. 1 overall recruit in the Class of 2025 by ESPN.
The Oregon native spent her freshman season with the USC Trojans. Davidson was electric in her first season in Los Angeles, averaging 17.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. The 19-year-old scored a career-high 32 points in an 88-83 loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes during the 2025-26 women’s college basketball season.
When it comes to the defensive end of the court, the Clackamas High School graduate outclasses her boyfriend. Davidson averaged 2.0 steals and 2.0 blocks per game, leading to her being named to the Big Ten All-Defensive Team. She was not limited to defensive honors, as the four-time Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year was also named the USBWA National Freshman of the Year.

While Ament declared for the NBA Draft, Davidson is returning for a second season with the Trojans.
