FOOT POSITIONING AND THE DYMANIC MOTION

FOOT POSITIONING AND THE DYMANIC MOTION

Proper foot positioning helps maintain balance, supports a dynamic
motion, and allows the sequence to work as intended.

Improper Foot Positioning Disrupts Timing

When the front foot starts too far forward, the body begins
the delivery out of balance.

To create momentum, the pitcher is forced to over-stride.

Over-striding disrupts timing, the lower body rushes, and the
throwing arm is left trying to find the target.

The result is inconsistent command and a delivery that is
difficult to repeat.

Better Foot Position Creates Better Direction

A balanced starting position begins with the front foot even
with the back foot.

The weight is created, allowing the body to move in sequence.

Balance leads to control, control leads to repeatability, and
repeatability leads to command.

The Glove Hand Connection

When the feet begin in balance, the glove hand moves across
the body.

The glove hand creates a sequence that activates the lower
body.

The hips follow, the throwing arm is delivered into position,
and instead of in separate pieces, the body works together.

This creates a smoother transfer of energy from the ground
through the core into the baseball.

Pitch Smart

When the sequence works, the command improves, and the
velocity becomes easier.

We’re so confident in our instruction that if we can’t help
you consistently find your target, your instruction is FREE.
