Hannibal TV Uses Abdullah The Butcher Deathbed Situation To Plug Upcoming Book

Hannibal TV took his ugly Abdullah the Butcher grudge from a nasty Facebook post straight into a video update, and somehow found a way to turn the whole thing into a plug for his upcoming book.

On June 24, 2026, The Hannibal TV posted what appeared to be a rough photo of Abdullah the Butcher in bed, looking nothing like the blood-soaked monster fans remember from the ring. The caption did not come with sympathy, prayers, or any soft farewell message. Hannibal went right for the throat. He captioned the post with a brutal shot at Abdullah’s condition and where he believes Abdullah is headed next.

“Abdullah the Butcher spending his final days literally rotting to death before he is sent off to hell for all the evil he has done in his life:”

That alone was cold enough, but Hannibal did not stop there. After the post, Devon “Hannibal” Nicholson uploaded a video where he went back over the hepatitis C case, the judgment against Abdullah, and the money he says he still has not collected. Then, right in the middle of the rant, he used the whole situation to tease his upcoming book.

Hannibal was talking about the lawyers he says failed to collect the judgment from Abdullah. He said several attorneys collected fees from him, but did not collect a penny from Abdullah. That is when he brought up Tony Richa and said more is coming in his book.

“And by the way, I had many lawyers on this woman named Tuning Chisholm from Atlanta. Then I had Ronald Kaza in Canada. He did a great job of collecting my disbursement fees. Really poor job of didn’t even collect a penny of the judgment. So he did try the case. Well, but he failed in the collection. Then I had a lawyer named Christopher Baddow failed in the collection. Then I had a lawyer named Tony Richa failed in the collection. And this other guy, Ken Shapiro, failed in the collection. But they sure collected my disbursements well. And there’s a lot of weird stuff that happened with Tony Richa that I’ll talk about in my book that were — were not good. And I’m going to go public about all that stuff in my book. But the collection matter is still going on to this day. I haven’t given up on the collection.”

That is a hell of a pivot. One minute Hannibal is talking about Abdullah the Butcher allegedly spending his final days in awful shape, and the next he is teasing legal dirt for a future book. It made the whole thing feel even uglier, because this was not just an emotional rant about a decades-old grudge. It also became a promo stop.

Nicholson has blamed Abdullah for years over their 2007 match and the hepatitis C case that followed. He has said Abdullah cut him without permission, caused blood-to-blood contact, cost him a WWE opportunity, and left him dealing with a nightmare that took years to get past. That is the grudge sitting underneath all of this.

Still, using a video about Abdullah’s apparent final days to hype a book is going to rub a lot of people the wrong way. Hannibal clearly does not care. He is not trying to mourn Abdullah, soften the story, or play nice for the wrestling world. He wants people to know he still hates the man, and now he is telling them there is more coming in print.
