Starting their professional adventure on a date in an athlete’s home state can be the ideal beginning for talents looking to stay local as long as they possibly can, because they enjoy the comforts of home more than foreign surroundings with unfamiliarity and uncertainty around every corner because of the knowledge that home is guaranteed to change the more, that they progress in the story. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet an equine of blue-blooded stock ready to stomp out pretenders with non-bluegrass ties at heavyweight for Legacy Fighting Alliance. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2026 and representing Triumph Combat, Alexander Collett sports a 1-0 record with his sole victory coming via submission. Collett has spent his whole career as a professional MMA fighter with Legacy Fighting Alliance and is 1-0 under their banner. His entire arc has been in the United States in his home state of Kentucky. He has never gone to the scorecards over the course of his time inside the professional ranks with a finishing rate of 100 percent under his belt to show for it. The one and only professional finish of Collett’s career thus far has been within one five-minute round with a time of three minutes and 39 seconds.
In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner on the preliminary card of LFA 235, he faced Blake Mitchell and went on to submit him in the first round. The win obtained Collett the first submission victory of his professional career alongside picking up his first win and finish under the LFA banner. He also earned his first overall victory as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. Collett may just be a foal in terms of experience, but his bluegrass hooves can stomp up plenty of potent power storms when he sets at attention out of the starting gate at a measured gallop!
