The National Wrestling Alliance revealed that Natalya Neidhart will return for the promotion’s biggest show of the year at NWA 78.
Natalya previously competed in the NWA as her more serious side, Nattie Neidhart, to challenge Kenzie Paige for the women’s world title at the Crockett Cup event last year. Natalya came up short in defeat. No opponent has been named yet for Natalya’s match at NWA 78.
In addition to Natalya, Billy Corgan’s promotion announced several wrestlers to appear:
Silas Mason has kept busy as worlds heavyweight champion by traveling overseas to Japan. Thrillbilly defended the Ten Pounds of Gold in AJPW against Shotaro Ashino. Mason cut a victory promo backstage to celebrate success.
You may have noticed on that list that Pretty Empowered hold the NWA Women’s World Tag Team Championship again. This is one of three recent title changes airing on NWA Powerrr. Kenzie Paige & Kylie Paige won the gold from The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle). The Country Gentlemen (AJ Cazana & KC Cazana) dethroned the Immortals (Kratos & Odinson) for the NWA World Tag Team Championship. MZRY won the vacant NWA World Television Championship.
NWA 78 is set for July 25 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
