FaZe Clan has a new AWPer. The team has signed Jason “JBOEN” Boe Nielsen from BIG Academy on loan until the end of 2026, right after benching longtime sniper Helvijs “broky” Saukants.
JBOEN is 20 years old and Danish. He’s currently ranked number 34 on the HLTV Prospects list for June 2026.
Who is JBOEN
He hasn’t played much at the top tier yet. Before BIG Academy, JBOEN was on Danish teams Atlantic and Preasy, and before that, he came up through the academy systems at Astralis and BIG.
That thin résumé hasn’t stopped people from rating him highly. His spot at 34 on the Prospects list puts him among the names scouts are watching closely heading into the back half of the year.
Broky out, JBOEN in
FaZe confirmed Broky’s benching first, then followed it almost immediately with the JBOEN news. Broky had held the AWP spot on the roster for a long stretch, so swapping him for an unproven 20-year-old is a notable call.
JBOEN takes over the AWP duties for now. The loan runs to the end of 2026, which gives both sides a few months to find out if it works before anyone has to commit further.
Here’s where FaZe’s CS2 lineup stands after the moves:
- David “frozen” Čerňanský
- Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken
- Jakub “jcobbb” Pietruszewski
- Jason “JBOEN” Boe Nielsen (on loan)
Niclas “enkay J” Krumhorn is still coaching the side. Broky hasn’t left the organization. He’s just been moved to the bench.
