Elayna Black knows exactly what some fans say about her, and she is not pretending it doesn’t exist.
During her conversation with Sports Jedi Network, “May The Sports Be With You!”, Black was asked what fans misunderstand about her. She didn’t dodge the question. She pointed straight at her OnlyFans platform and the way some people use it to judge her wrestling career. Black said some fans see OnlyFans and immediately act like it makes her less serious as a wrestler.
“I think the most obvious answer is because I have an OnlyFans platform, which is a very, I don’t know if taboo is the word you would say, but I think a lot of people look at that and immediately, I don’t know if it’s lose respect for me or don’t take me seriously or whatever that is just because they have misconceptions of it or whatever.”
That is the part Black clearly has no patience for. She is not hiding from the fact that she has another platform, but she also made it clear that people judging her for it are missing the entire point. Black said she has every right to make her own choices with her own body, especially when nobody is being hurt.
“But I think if you have the ability to and you’re comfortable, and it’s your life and your body and you are allowed to do whatever you want with it, and if you’re not harming anybody, and I like to have fun and do cute photo shoots and post it and stuff like that, I don’t see any harm in that.”
She also made it clear that nobody is being forced to support it. Fans can subscribe or not, but she is not going to let that decide how seriously she should be taken in the ring. Black then hit the real issue head-on. She said the idea that OnlyFans means she doesn’t love wrestling is ridiculous.
“If you want to support that, that’s great and I appreciate it. But if you don’t, that’s fine too. No harm, no foul.”
“But I think a lot of the misconception is that I don’t love wrestling because I have an OnlyFans or I don’t take it seriously or anything like that. And I think that that’s just so ridiculous because I absolutely love wrestling so much.”
Black also said she is grateful that she can earn money from more than one place. She added that plenty of people would probably do the same thing if they had the chance.
“I’m blessed to be able to make a living with the income from another source as well, which I think a lot of people, if they could, they would.”
Then she took a direct shot at the people who judge what they don’t understand. Black said she is past the point of caring about every opinion thrown her way. Black finished by saying she appreciates her supporters, but she is not chasing approval from people who refuse to get it.
“I think a lot of it also just stems from that, and people like to talk about what they don’t understand. And I’m at the point in my life where I really don’t care what people say either.”
“So, you know, it is what it is. I appreciate the support, but if you don’t support it, that’s totally fine too.”
She also admitted that some fans may not like how blunt she is, but that is not changing either.
“And I think I would say another misconception is I think I’m just very blunt and I tell it how it is and I just like to be very real. And I don’t know if everybody always likes that or likes to hear that, or, you know, I think maybe it kind of makes some people uncomfortable, but that’s just kind of always how I’ve been and I don’t plan on changing anytime soon.”
Black made her stance pretty damn clear. Having an OnlyFans does not mean she loves wrestling any less, and it sure does not mean she should be taken less seriously. She is in TNA to build her name, prove herself, and shut down anyone who thinks they get to define her career because of what she does outside the ring.
